NAME: Ol’61 – The Badboy Special
SPEC: Make it look period authentic
TYPE: Bobber – Barhopper
FRAME: Attitude
ENGINE: Harley Davidson
PAINT: Distressed
OWNER: DB

SPECIAL BITS: There’s lots of little ‘extras’ on Ol’SixtyOne – from the embossed DB hub cap (the old original logo of Dodge Brothers) from a prewar Dodge truck to the hidden neutral indicator… and then there is the crazy fuel filler – it’s from a ww2 aircraft!

A word from the owner: “Simon did a great job and what a nice guy – customer service and care that went way beyond expectation. It was an unusual brief to create a bike that looked 70 years old, no chrome and no metalflake paint etc… but he did it. Took him a while to get his head around it but the end result is exactly what I wanted and he’s as proud of it as I am. It stops traffic and attracts admiring glances far more than all the exotic sports bikes I’ve had in the past! Motorcycles like this are a statement about the owner, their attitude to life and how you feel when riding… this motorcycle is best enjoyed at sub 50 mph and when sat outside a bar with great music, blue sky and a cold beer. Thanks Si.” DB
